Friends of Sparsh Monthly Update – January 2024

As the new year begins, we are grateful for your continuous support, which has enabled us to provide the following services to our homeless community with the help of over 1,300 volunteer families:

• Distributed approximately 380,000 pounds of food through our food pantry and other donations
• Collected 300 new jackets and 600 toys in December, which were donated to various organizations and partners
• Provided around 100 sleeping bags this year
• Served over 710,000 meals, including those distributed through our food pantry
• Assisted more than 170 families moving out of shelters with basic needs like mattresses, TVs, furniture, and other household essentials
• Provided monthly supplies to shelters for the past five years

We couldn’t have achieved these accomplishments without our volunteers’ engagement and the generous support from our community. If you’d like to celebrate a special occasion or honor a loved one, consider donating food, drinks, perishable items, or non-perishable items to the shelter.
